The founders came from music. The architecture is Swiss banking.
Dennis Hausammann started in music — producing beats, pressing CDs, selling them on the street. He signed a deal, saw the system from the inside: no transparency, no real-time data, no infrastructure built for the people using it.
Coming from the Swiss banking systems — where every transaction is logged, every calculation auditable, every data field precise. When digital distribution emerged and brought more complexity, not less, he built iGroove: a system to make selling music digitally as frictionless as handing someone a CD.
iGroove won the Swiss E-Commerce Award in 2013. Labels wanted the tech. Then distribution. Then intelligence. Every capability in Label OS was built because a real label — starting with our own — needed it. Not designed in a product lab. Stress-tested in production. Moris Marchionna brought the artist and management perspective — a producer and manager who understood what labels owe their artists. Géraldine Allemann brought financial operations — the back office discipline that keeps the machine running.
